BMW 3 Series Touring Car Review

BMW 3 Touring is a great saloon car with sharp handling, detailed steering and a range of powerful engines. Some critics say that you can get bigger estate cars for the price of BMW 3 Touring. However, BMW provides sufficient features in BMW3 to attract a good population of car lovers.

Price:

The starting price of BMW 3 series Touring is $35,795 which is slightly higher when compared to the rival cars of the same category.

Performance:

The 318i is the slowest of all BMW 3 Series Touring cars with four cylinders. However, the engine of the slowest BMW 3 Touring has no apparent faults. Other four cylinder models include 320i, 318d and the 320d. All of them provide fast and gutsy experience. The six cylinder 325i gives the best speed performance and there is nothing to complain about in these cars.

Driving and Handling Experience:

The 3 series gives sublime body control and grip, which makes it one of the sharpest cars in its class. The accurate steering performance along with strong suspension makes the driving experience pleasurable. You might get a bumpy feel while driving it on rough surfaces but the entire experience of driving makes it a perfectly fine car. Like other BMW cars, the 3 series Touring is a noiseless car and is great for long-distance cruising. You will not hear any noise even when you drive it at the highest speed or on worn surfaces.

Quality and Reliability:

Again, BMW 3 Touring series score very high on quality and reliability. Everything is built perfectly with top quality material. The buyer also gets a lot of options to choose a combination of features that suits his or her taste. Obviously, the car has nothing to complain about when it comes to quality and reliability.

Safety and Security:

As expected, the BMW 3 Touring provides excellent safety features. The standard safety features for this series include front, side and curtain airbags, electronic brakeforce control features, and stability control features that ensure the safety of the occupants in case of crashes. The excellent deadlock features make it really hard for anybody to break in.

Interior Space:

The BMW 3 series Touring has plenty of space in the cabin that can fit four passengers comfortably. Some people argue that its competitors provide even more space. However, this car does not score badly when it comes to interior cabin space. Moreover, you get features like under floor storage space and lashing points to add to the overall practicability of the car.

Other Features:

The car provides a range of seat adjustment and steering wheel control features. The dashboard features nothing extraordinary. It includes simple stereo, heat control features and optional iDrive system. Although the car has sufficient control features, it could have done even better on this front.

Other standard features include alloy wheels, CD player, power windows and air conditioning. Midrange models have reverse sensors and climate control features. Top range models include sports front seats, aluminum trim, larger alloy wheels to name a few.

All in all, the BMW 3 Series Touring cars provide good value for money. If you are looking for a luxury saloon car, then this car is definitely worth considering.
